*TRAKTOR Pro 3 Ableton Link | NI Community ForumTraktor Scratch Recording In Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Etc ...Ok so I’m trying to learn to Dj. I kind of know the basics as a lot of my friends are dj’s I have Suite Ableton and and got an APC40 for Christmas because I wanted to learn to DJ with it. I am kind of starting to get the hang of it however it is still pretty difficult. I was thinking of spending a couple hundred dollars and getting a used Traktor S2. Will Djing be easier to learn with the S2 than learning to DJ with my APC40 in Ableton? I can either spend like $200 on an audio interface since I can’t dj without that in ableton, or put that 200 towards an S2. So basically, would I be better off getting the S2 and learning how to Dj in Trakor and then once I get that down then move onto the APC in Ableton? Or should I just keep trekking on in Ableton? Trying to teach myself and it’s kind of difficult. Thanks.TRAKTOR Pro 3 Ableton Link | NI Community Forum
Watch this video tutorial to learn how to sync Traktor Pro 2 and Ableton Live running on the same computer. Connect with The DJ Podcast http://thedjpodcast.c. Y-split cable - mixer (inputs) - mixer (main out) - into Ableton interface inputs 1+2. Y-split cable - (both channel outs from Traktor) into Ableton interface inputs 3+4 & 5+6. This would also require that you use an interface for Ableton that offers at least three stereo inputs. Another option would be to use something like a ’virtual. This article describes how to synchronize TRAKTOR (SCRATCH) PRO 2 with Ableton Live via MIDI Clock. This setup is particularly useful for adding your own edits or tracks to your DJ set. By enabling MIDI Clock sync, you will be able to maintain TRAKTOR’s tempo when launching your clips in Ableton Live.
